Demaine Funeral Home is quickly approaching 50 years of serving Springfield! Built in 1968, the location was a branch of the original Demaine family location in Old Town Alexandria. In the years since, Demaine has become a partner in the Dignity Memorial network, meaning we are part of the biggest and most well-known brand in the industry. We are proud to be such a devoted part of the community, and are attuned to the needs and wants of the beautiful and diverse area.

We can assist in planning and executing everything from the simplest private gathering to a full service with a catered reception. Our staff will work with you to honor your loved one, assisting in navigating the necessary steps to lay them to rest whether it is down the street, or around the world. We celebrate all faiths and recognize the wonderful patchwork of customs and ethnic traditions that come along with everyone who makes up this community!

We are planning a massive renovation of our facility later in 2017. Stop by and see us to check out all of our new features and for pre-planning materials that can give your loved ones peace of mind in knowing your wishes. Our staff is on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to take care of your family. We look forward to 50 more years together!

Our Easter Sunday Sunrise Service, in conjunction with Bethany Lutheran Church, has drawn hundreds of area residents for more than 50 years. In addition, we annually honor all our mothers with a floral remembrance for Mother?s Day.

Please contact one of our family service counselors at our administrative office if you would like a tour of our grounds.
