Fairfax County just posted a blogannouncing a new Community Testing Center (CTC) opening tomorrow, Saturday, January 15),in a large tent located in Parking Lot B at the Fairfax County Government Center. The CTC will provide free PCR testing and operate Saturdays through Wednesdays from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. by appointment only.
Testing is recommended for individuals who have COVID-19 symptoms or have been instructed to test following a COVID-19 exposure.
To find an appointment, visit vase.vdh.virginia.gov/testingappointment. Appointments typically become available 24 hours in advance. With the wintry weather forecast for the weekend, VDH has decided that all CTCs will be closed on Sunday. A decision about Monday will be made on Sunday afternoon around 12:30 p.m.
