Congress passed and President Trump signed into law HR 6201 Family First Coronavirus Act requiring employers to implement this act April 2 to December 31, 2020. It requires employers of less than 500 employers and more than 50 employees to provide paid sick leave of two weeks and up to 12 weeks of paid family leave due to the coronavirus.
