Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares announces a new anti-human trafficking initiative called the 100% Business Alliance Against Trafficking.
This program is a workforce training initiative for businesses to educate their employees on how to recognize possible trafficking incidents within their business communities. Human trafficking happens in plain sight. When Virginia businesses equip their employees with education, tools, and training, employees become trusted eyes and ears in their communities.
The 100% Business Alliance Against Trafficking is a public safety partnership between companies and the Virginia Office of the Attorney General that recognizes businesses taking proactive steps to fight back against human trafficking.

Companies that train 100% of their employees using this program will be officially recognized by the Office of Attorney General. Miyares' office will make this training video available to any Virginia business that requests it. Raising awareness and prosecuting human traffickers has been a priority for the Office of Attorney General under Attorney General Miyares. In August, the Office of the Attorney General participated in the investigation, prosecution, and historic sentencing of individuals connected to a labor trafficking enterprise involving immigrant children at a laundromat in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Attorney General Miyares also recently hosted the first annual Human Trafficking Call to Action Summit in Richmond, Virginia.
The 100% Business Alliance Against Trafficking is a way for businesses to join Attorney General Miyares in the fight to eradicate Human Trafficking in Virginia.
This short training module is used by companies to have your employees trained on Human Trafficking. Once a company has all their employees finish the training, they join the AG’s 100% Business Alliance Against Trafficking.
